Jack received his B.A. degree from Portland State University in 1976, and his M.B.A. degree from University of Portland in 1990. He worked in healthcare administration for over

30 years and retired as CEO in 2007 from Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital.

Jack enjoyed being a member of Rotary International for over 25 years and hosted several exchange students in his home.

He was honored to be a member of the Masonic Lodge, and in 1997 was a Past Master of the Intrepid Lodge No. 224 in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Hopefully you’ve enjoyed the pictures of our classmates we’ve collected so far, some of them over sixty years old. We, on the Reunion Committee, have pretty well tapped out all our own sources; several moves, parent’s downsizing, divorce and the countless other things that could have befallen these images of our youth, so we need your help. We would like to develop a presentation of these pictures for viewing at the Reunion, but as you can see it would be a short slideshow. I’d like to ask you to help us by digging out old pictures of our school years and sharing them with us. If you find some pictures you’d be willing to share, please send them to Glenn Belshaw via email glenbelshaw@comcast.net or mail them to Glenn Belshaw 10810 SW Walker Rd. Beaverton, OR 97005. If you mail them, keep in mind that I’m sixty seven and a half, what do you think your chances are of getting them back, but I promise to try and return them.

PHS Class of"61" Fiftieth Reunion Committee at Work
Your PHS Reunion Committee has worked long and hard trying to find the perfect location for this once in a lifetime event

Timberline Lodge:

To far for old people to drive at night

Pittock Mansion:
The City of Portland does not allow Adult Beverages on the grounds

Columbia Gorge Stern Wheeler:

Surely someone in our class suffers from motion sickness

Rocky Butte:

The City of Portland will only reserve the park for weddings, didn't know anyone that planning on getting married on August 13th

Someone would always come up with another possible location, this would require another meeting

Sometimes these discussions would last late into the night

We did ultimately come up with a great location
